Receives Highest Recognition for Excellence in Brand Repositioning

ADATA™ Technology, a leading manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules and NAND Flash storage application products, has been named one of the world’s most effective rebrands in the 8th annual ReBrand 100® Global Awards. The company’s brand rebuilding efforts have already been widely recognized in the memory and storage industries, and now have earned accolades from the world’s most-respected global rebranding program.

Each year, an international and multidisciplinary mix of industry experts convenes to jury the ReBrand 100 annual competition. They consider “before” and “after” representations of brand transformations with written summaries and supporting elements that showcase integration of social media and mobile engagement. Included among this year’s winners are Cisco, Pfizer and UBS.

“ADATA is proud to be a recipient of this distinguished award,” said Shalley Chen, Executive Vice President at ADATA. “The strong and vivid hummingbird motif of our new identity wholly captured the spirit of our brand and our company, and helped unify the brand image behind one coherent identity.” The company’s rebranding effort also increased market confidence in the brand and interest from distributors. The colorful and easily recognizable hummingbird icon, the new slogan “Love, Life, Dreams”, and the aesthetically striking new corporate image have brought the ADATA brand into an elite class of brand recognition, on a par with the company’s famed technological excellence.

Krusell - TOP-10 selling phones for February 2012

1. (1) Apple iPhone 4/4S
2. (2) Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II
3. (5) Samsung Galaxy Nexus
4. (3) Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc/Arc S
5. (-) Samsung Galaxy Note
6. (-) Nokia Lumia 800
7. (6) Nokia C2-01
8. (9) HTC Sensation
9. (10) Sony Xperia S
10. (-) Sony Xperia Neo/Neo V
() = Last month’s position.

On Krusell’s Topseller list for February the most interesting news are not shown in the top three, where normally all focus is, says Ulf Sandberg CEO at Krusell. I would like to point out Nokia Lumia 800 which is new on the list and goes straight into 6th place which is an indication that Nokias new smartphone is well received in the market. I also would like to address Samsung’s Galaxy Note, that is representing a new segment for smartphones. Note’s size opens for interesting discussions on how phones and work tools will be designed size wise for the coming years. I can see that there is a lot of demand from the market for carrying solutions when the devices become larger, and that it also demands new innovative ideas, he ends.

The Swedish manufacturer of carrying cases for portable electronics, Krusell, releases its "Top 10"-list for February 2012. The list is based on the number of pieces of custom made mobile- and smartphone cases ordered from Krusell during February 2012. Krusell's list is unique due to the fact that it reflects the sales of phones on six continents and in more than 70 countries around the globe.
