Review:

The Choiix Wake Up Folio is perfectly designed to fully encase an installed iPad2 and once installed the case still allows full access to all of the ports of the tablet for charging or syncing.  The magnetic catches easily secure the cover in place and prevents damage to the screen whilst in transit and since the Folio has a microfibre lining there is little chance of any scratching by the case itself.  The case itself is made from flexible pastic with a soft synthetic covering and comes in a variety of colours to suit all tastes. The face of the case folds back on itself (secured by magnetic strips encased in the material) to provide a rudimentary stand that allows the tablet to be held in one of two positions: almost vertical for multimedia viewing or slightly inclined to allow use of the keyboard.

The case itself feels nice and sturdy once the iPad 2 is installed is a great way of protecting the tablet, however although a great idea, the stand is fine for a slightly inclined position, but the near vertical nature of the other orientation is slightly nerve racking unless on a perfectly flat surface.

~£25 RRP

Verdict:

4/5 - The case fits securely, allows easy access for both charging and syncing, and is the right price, but in our opinion, a slight change of the "stand" design would allow for a more secure vertical orientation.
