Who loves sword fighting games? Famous Sci-Fi author Neal Stephenson certainly does, and he’s launched a Kickstarter project with Subutai Corporation to fund CLANG (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/260688528/clang), a motion-controlled sword fighting game that could change the way the genre is played. For more information on specific sword fighting gameplay techniques, see this update here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/260688528/clang/posts/256481.

Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan recently pledged $1 for every ‘Like’ or ‘Share’ a Facebook post received on the topic (up to $10,000), and reached his goal in only a single day. The community spoke, and he’s listening!

With three days to go, the project is still short of its $500,000 goal.

CEO Min-Liang Tan:

“I'm a huge supporter of PC indie game [developers] and I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve seen from CLANG. For every Like/Share this post gets, I’ll pledge $1 towards the Clang Kickstarter). So, let's do this together and aim to hit 10 thousand Likes/Shares before the end of their Kickstarter campaign so that WE, as the Razer community, can pledge that $10K to them!”

Neal Stephenson:

“My career as an author of science and historical fiction has turned me into a swordsmanship geek. As such, I'm dissatisfied with how swordfighting is portrayed in existing video games. These could be so much more fun than they are. Time for a revolution.
