Having paid out for one of the new Apple iPads, chances are you aren't going to want to carry it around unprotected from the elements, and there are a number of manufacturers ready to provide some form of protection for your new acquisition. One of the latest to hit the market, probably aimed more at the more discerning feminine iPad user is the toffee "iPad Pocket", a luxuriously made soft leather iPad case.
The toffee iPad Pocket is manufactured out of pebble-grain leather and comes in red, pink, black and green and measures 19cm (w) x 1.4cm (h) x 24.5cm (l) to closely fit those of the iPad to be protected. The leather is very soft to the touch and it is clear that attention has been made to the stitching.
The main compartment of the iPad pocket is lined with a silky polyester lining (in the same colour as the bag leather) and is well padded with a layer of foam to protect the encased iPad. Any of the iPad models will fit snugly in this zipped compartment of the case, but there is also a second large stud-fastened pocket to house your day to day items, with pockets for a smartphone/iPhone 4, and sleeves for your credit cards and plenty of room for loose items in the bottom of the pocket.
This quality and luxurious construction doesn't come cheap though, and if you want to purchase the toffee iPad Pocket, you are going to have to shell out ~£75 for the honour.
