View Quest turns up the volume with its new SONICDOCK.

Turn any surface into a giant audio speaker with this incredible iPhone dock from UK brand View Quest. This ingenious product uses vibration technology to create up to 12W of output power on any flat surface. “The great thing about this product is how it takes simple principles of making sound by vibration, and combines with modern design to create this awesome product” explains Chris Mole, Product Manager at View Quest.

The volume, and particularly the bass that the SONICDOCK can produce on your coffee table, desk, or even window sill is incredible considering the size of the product. With no speakers to worry about you can take this product around the house, into work, on holiday….anywhere with a flat surface and power source. The integrated iPhone/iPod dock means the SONICDOCK looks extremely neat and stylish, wherever you choose to sit it. view_quest_sonicdock

Now for the science bit…The main component is a tiny piece of material called Terfenol-D which was originally used by the US Navy for sonar work; when Terfenol expands, electronic signals are transmitted into mechanical energy causing the flat surface to vibrate and broadcast sound. Now View Quest have taken this technology to revolutionise your audio experience. Check out the View Quest website for more information on Terfenol-D technology.

The SONICDOCK can charge your iPhone or iPod while you listen, and also has an AUX-in connection for other audio sources. As with all View Quest products, this iPhone dock is stylish, innovative and most importantly for today’s market…affordable.

The View Quest SONICDOCK is available now for £49.99 at Amazon and Misco.
