Movienizer.com today releases Movienizer 3.2, a significant upgrade to its popular movie organizer software that runs on Windows PCs. New in Movienizer 3.2 is support for Dune HD media players, allowing users to create an illustrated video catalog for these devices. With Movienizer, collectors will enjoy their Dune experience more as they'll be able to browse their movie catalog on TV screens.
Movienizer 3.2 makes it easy to create a movie catalog for Dune HD Base and Dune BD Prime players. Using a special, easy-to-follow wizard, one can build a catalog from videos located anywhere on the local network, including networking computers, network-attached storage (NAS), hard disk drives connected to Dune. Displayed on a TV screen, the catalog can be browsed with the remote control by cover art or categories. Selecting a cover shows detailed information on that movie, including full description, shots from the movie, list of actors and more. Supporting TV series, new Movienizer can capture video frames of a series automatically and use it as cover art.
The catalog is skinnable and fully customizable, allowing the user to change its content and design to personal preferences. For example, it's possible to edit entries in the fields, change background, select custom images for categories, specify a number of columns and rows for movie cards and modify many other settings.

Movienizer 3.2 - Any movie is just a click away!
Movienizer 3.2 provides a complete set of tools that allow movie collectors to quickly catalog video, including CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, HD-DVD and video files, to create a centralized computer database. Using its wizards, movies can be added to a database effortlessly with a few mouse clicks, without the need for tedious typing by hand. The user just inserts a disk into the DVD drive, enters the title of a movie, and the program will look it up in online video databases and download all relevant information into the program. Currently, the program extracts information from IMDB, Blu-Ray.com, DVDEmpire, OFDB and many other databases. Movienizer automatically enters downloaded information into the fields of a movie card, including title, release year, summary, actors, covers, and more.
When users want to watch a particular movie, it's no longer necessary to search through the boxes of disks, opening and closing jewel cases - just go to the computer and run Movienizer. To find a video, the user can simply browse through the database, use a quick search, or search by database fields. If a disk was lent out to a friend, the program's loan module will remind the owner who took the disk and when it's due back. Once the movie is found, the user can read full details on the film, or watch it from within the program using the built-in video player.
Complementing the desktop version is a portable version of Movienizer that runs from any removable device, such as USB flash drive. This allows users to make use of the program on any computer while on the move.
